Parjanya. Senior Creative professional and ideaperson for 15 and some years now. Born and brought up in Delhi, with some years in Punjab, Parjanya is a Delhiwala with a vengeance, having sandpapered away his Bengaliness.
Doesn't drive, is a non-smoker and a near teetotaler. Loves his Earl Grey in the morning and a cup of Darjeeling with teacake, in the evening. Other passions include baking muffins and cakes to the resounding voices of Pavarotti and Placido Domingo.
Lives with his muse and fellow writer, a daughter and a lively labrador, on the eastern fringe of the city, abutting the badlands of UP. Loves French cinema - as he calls it wordy, thought-provoking and very avant-garde.
Ready to commute to gurgaon on his next assignment, he dreams, breathes and contemplates writing. His free verses are not flowing well at the moment, but he swears by his Eliot, that he will resume.
A short vacation to Bangalore and he is yabbba-dabba-doo about his new place of work.
